Rossmax NB80 Compact Piston Nebulizer is designed for efficient and user-friendly respiratory therapy. Follow these steps to ensure proper usage:
Preparation:
Placement: Set the compressor on a stable, flat surface within reach.
Power Connection: Ensure the power switch is in the "OFF" position. Connect the AC adapter to the device and plug it into an electrical outlet.
Assembling the Nebulizer Kit:
Disassemble: Gently twist and pull the lid of the nebulizer to separate it into two parts: the medication cup and the cover.
Check Nozzle: Ensure the nozzle is properly installed inside the medication cup; the stem inside the cup should insert into the tube of the nozzle.
Add Medication: Pour the prescribed amount of medication into the medication cup, ensuring it does not exceed the maximum capacity of 5 ml.
Reassemble: Carefully twist the medication cup and cover together until they fit securely.
Connecting Components:
Air Tube: Attach one end of the air tube connector to the air output on the compressor. Connect the opposite end to the stem at the base of the nebulizer kit.
Mouthpiece or Mask: Attach the angled mouthpiece or the appropriate mask (adult or child) to the top of the nebulizer.
Operating the Nebulizer:
Start: Turn the power switch to the "ON" position.
Positioning: Place the mouthpiece in your mouth or position the mask over your nose and mouth.
Breathing: Breathe in the aerosolized medication deeply and slowly until the medication is fully administered.
Duration: The nebulizer is operable at up to a 45° angle. If the angle is greater than 45°, no aerosol will be generated.
After Use:
Turn Off: Switch the power to the "OFF" position and unplug the unit.
Disassemble: Carefully detach the air tubing from the nebulizer and pour out any remaining medication.
