How to Use the OneTouch Verio Flex Blood Glucose Monitoring System:

• Prepare the Meter: Insert a OneTouch Verio test strip into the meter. It will turn on automatically when the strip is inserted correctly.
• Load the Lancing Device: Insert a new lancet into the lancing device. Twist off the protective cap, adjust the depth setting for comfort, and re-cap the device.
• Wash and Dry Hands: Clean your hands with soap and warm water to ensure accurate results. Dry them thoroughly before proceeding.
• Obtain a Blood Sample: Hold the lancing device against the side of your fingertip and press the release button to obtain a small blood drop.
• Apply Blood to the Test Strip: Gently touch the drop of blood to the edge of the inserted test strip. The strip will draw the blood sample automatically.
• Wait for the Result: The meter will display your blood glucose reading within 5 seconds, along with a color-coded range indicator (green, yellow, or red).
• Record the Result: Your reading is automatically saved in the meter's memory, including the date and time.
• Remove and Dispose of the Test Strip: After reading the result, remove the used test strip and dispose of it properly in a sharps container.
• Eject the Lancet: Remove the used lancet from the lancing device and dispose of it in a sharps container to prevent injuries.
• Turn Off the Meter: The meter will automatically turn off once the strip is removed, or you can hold the power button to manually turn it off.
• Sync Data (Optional): If you want to track your readings over time, use the Bluetooth feature to sync your data with the OneTouch Reveal mobile app for detailed insights.
• Store the Device: Keep the meter, lancing device, and test strips in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
